Course Description

FP1 full-arch implant reconstruction provides a fixed, tooth-only restoration supported by four to six implants placed immediately after tooth extraction. Unlike FP3 restorations, which replace both teeth and gingival tissue, the FP1 approach preserves the natural appearance of the soft tissue and is designed to function as closely as possible to natural dentition.
This course provides a prosthetically driven approach to full-arch implant rehabilitation, with a focus on comprehensive diagnosis, careful treatment planning and precise surgical execution. Participants will examine the clinical principles involved in immediate implant placement, provisionalization and final restoration.
The program also addresses the digital workflow used in FP1 treatment, including cone beam computed tomography, intraoral scanning, three-dimensional planning, surgical guide fabrication and restorative design. Through lectures, case-based discussions and hands-on exercises, participants will gain practical insight into the planning and delivery of predictable full-arch implant reconstructions.

- Review protocols for immediate provisionalization and definitive restoration.
- Recognize esthetic and functional considerations involved in FP1 treatment.
- Identify potential complications and strategies for minimizing risk.
- Apply practical treatment-planning concepts through case review and hands-on exercises.
