About this course
Dimensional changes occur after tooth extraction which may hamper implant placement. Alveolar ridge preservation diminishes the volumetric loss, facilitating subsequent implant placement, making it easy and predictable for every clinician.

Alfonso Gil, DDS, MS, PhD
Dr. Gil completed advanced periodontology training at USC, an implantology fellowship at UCLA, and prosthodontic training at the University of Zurich. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and holds a PhD from the International University of Catalonia. His research includes soft tissue augmentation, bone regeneration, and implant prosthodontics.
