February 28-March 1, 2026
In-Person & Remote | 16 CE Units
Course Description
This advanced-level course is designed for clinicians experienced in bone grafting who want to expand their skills to address severe ridge deficiencies, complex anatomical challenges, and management of complications. The program emphasizes advanced regenerative strategies, integration of biologics, digital technologies, and minimally invasive techniques to enhance predictability in challenging clinical scenarios.
Through lectures, hands-on workshops, and live surgery, participants will gain in-depth knowledge and practical skills to manage complex horizontal and vertical augmentation, advanced GBR protocols, and soft tissue integration for long-term implant success.
Educational Objectives
- Advanced diagnosis and classification of severe ridge deficiencies
- Risk assessment and complication management in regenerative procedures
- Advanced GBR protocols for vertical and horizontal ridge augmentation
- Utilization of biologics, autogenous grafts, and advanced biomaterials
- Digital technologies: CAD/CAM meshes, 3D planning, and guided surgery
- Innovative flap designs for complex regenerative procedures
- Prevention and management of graft and membrane exposure
- Integration of soft tissue augmentation with regenerative protocols
Speakers

Dr. Tara Aghaloo is a Professor in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the UCLA School of Dentistry. She completed her dental training at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency, MD, and PhD in Oral Biology at UCLA. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and is a board examiner for the specialty. She has a very active clinical practice focusing on bone and soft tissue regeneration, dental implant surgery, and osteonecrosis of the jaws. She is also active in professional organizations where she is the Associate Editor for the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Past-President of the Academy of Osseointegration (AO), and a member of several American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS) committees.
